On YouTube it's only 420p and the screen just seems to be in really bad quality

It may be that some videos are only uploaded in 420p, so you can't change or fix the quality.

I've tried 6 different videos and checked all 6 on my Xbox they all atleast go up to 720p so it's not the videos it's the phone

Unfortunately I did not have this information before.
So if it works on the Xbox on 720p, please check the YouTube settings to see if you can set the quality, if
not, I think the quality will be throttled because of the amount of data volume.
