Root LG K40??

Question

Is it possible to root the LG K40? I just picked up this phone from metro by t-mobile but I need it rooted. Also, is the bootloader able to be unlocked? There is very little info online about this device, it's really frustrating...

it is possible to root the LG K40, but it seems like the device is too new to find a manual how to root it. As we are not delivering manuals to this topic on our page (due to safety reasons), i searched through the pages of our trustworthy partners, but so far there is really nothing about that. My advice would be, to wait a little until the first manuals pop up. I will keep your question in mind and reply here if i find one myself.
