Unable to connect to my PC to transfer photos

I want to transfer my photos to my PC.

When I connect using a USB cable the PC gives a sound and the phone screen lights up indicating it has been connected. The phone shows up in the list of folders in Windows 10 explorer. When clicking on it it shows as empty.  If I connect another phone it works fine and I can drill down to my photos.

I have tried during 6 months to write to Oukitel via their web page to all mail addresses no response what so ever.

Can anyone help or is this a product I should never have bought ?

    Hello Stenne!

After connecting the phone, do you change the USB connection to file transfer? Normally, a pop-up should appear on your smartphone where you can select this.

If not, please open the notification bar after connecting the device.

    Greetings!

    Hi Denny,

No pop-up appears.   I selected PC-filetransfer icon. I then get a message "Android-system" press for alternatives. I get into USB-settings and can then select filetransfer as an alternative.

I can now see the files on my phone on my PC.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, great.

    Kind regards

    Stenne
