OUKITEL WP9 Echoing sound when using earbuds.

Hello an echo is happening  with my OUKITEL WP9 when using wired earbuds ( latest build ,Android 10 ) .Also the sound is brittle with very few basses . This happens when listening music , watching videos and not when calling . The best to describe the echo is that there is a time offset between left and right ear.

As far as i know there is  no equalizer or sound enhancement running. I Have tested my earbuds an another device and they are  working fine.

Does someone have an idea how to fix that?

    Hi efday.

There have been a few reports of the Oukitel WP5 Pro having poor playback of music, which would be due to the hardware.

However, it could also be due to battery optimization and the app has limitations when using it, have you checked this?

To do so, navigate to the app settings, select an app and check the Battery settings.

    Regards.

    Hi Denny ,

Thanks for the suggestion , i tried to desactivate the battery optimization for Youtube and  Netflix apps , but the result is the same-> very unpleasant echo/ time offset between  left and right ear.

I also tried to  set the sound in mono in the accessibilty menu but there is no difference , the offset is still here. The sound is exactly the same  in stereo and in mono .Not sure at all but It makes me think that the phone does not support stereo sound and  instead they added  the echo effect to simulate  a cheap stereo output.

I may try to reset the phone to factory setting , but not sure if it worth it.

Do you think using blutooth earbuds would solve the issue ?

    Hi efday!

I'm afraid I don't know if factory reset would fix it.

If you have a chance to try it with bluetooth earphones, I'd advise that too.

    Greetings!

    Hi Denny ,

No sucess with the factory reset , but bluetooth earphones solved the echo  issue . Still weak basses and loud highs  though.

    Bye !

    Hi efday!

You could try different equalizer apps, maybe you can at least adjust the sound a bit with them.
