Incompatible with Google Home app?

Hello,

I've been unable to install the Google Home app from the Google Play Store on my Blu Life Mark android 5.1 and can't understand why.

The Google Home app keeps stating that my phone is 'an incompatible device.' Is that correct and if so why as it's a mobile android device?

I've just bought bought a smart speaker which needs to be set up using Google Home and I'm unable to use my phone to do so.
