Android setup notification persistence

Since the first day I bought my A3s, there has been a permanent problem, though it didn't affect the phone's performance in any way, it is very annoying. After the first time of switching on the phone, it asked me to connect to wifi to set up the phone which I did and it worked perfectly, but till now, the notification that I should connect to wifi to complete set up is still there, if I try to connect to wifi through that setup notification it doesn't connect, but if I go through the normal process it works, the notification is ever-present and it is still there till now after months of usage, it is now very annoying, please can I do anything about this?
