no network - notification sound

Is there a way to switch off the notification sound for having "no network" connectivity?

I live in a house where the 4g does not penetrate the walls. So I constantly get notificationsounds that I have no network. It drives me crazy. The only way to stop the sounds is by switching off the sound alltogether. But now I cannot listen to music and I wont get any notifications for my whatsapp messages and e-mail.

I really hope someone knows the answer. Cheers!

    Hello aramilia!

According to my information this is unfortunately not possible.

You could change your preferred network type to 3G if you are not receiving 4G anyway.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Open Settings
    • Tap Network and Internet
    • Tap on mobile phone network
    • Tap on Advanced
    • Tap on Preferred Network Type
    • Choose 3G

    Greetings!

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, we don't have 3G either. The house is too well built ;-)

    Like Faradays cage

But it is good to know that it is just not possible.... better than to keep searching and not finding a solution

hello aramilia. do you see a notification in the status bar that there is no network available? if so, tap and hold the notification (or move it to the left/right). you should then see the system app that allows you to turn off the notifications. i can't tell you right now if this works on your device, but it's worth a try ;-)
