Certain contacts' messages coming through blank

Two of my contacts are unable to send through messages, with both appearing as blank messages whenever they send either directly, or in response to my message.

Only two in my whole contact list are affected.  Neither are blocked.

One thing I've noticed is that they are the only two contacts that are showing in the Conversations section of the Notifications Settings (within App settings).

I've since deleted the message thread of one of them but they're still showing as blank.

Anyone else found this and have they fixed it?

Thanks.

    Hello!

So the problem is new to us, to be honest.

I think this is either a provider problem or a system error.

But we will try to get more information about it.

    Greetings!

    Thanks Denny.

I'll keep searching myself to see if I can find anything else. I've since found one more contact that has the same issue appearing - all three are now to be seen in the Conversations section - with no common factor between them that I can see.

    Hello again!

I have read something that some smartphones or providers (in combination?) have problems with the country code.

Could you please check if exactly these contacts are saved with the country code and change them if possible?

    Greetings!

    Hi again Denny,

No luck with the country code - there's contacts with and without country codes that can send Text messages fine - and of those that can't, one does and one doesn't have a country code.

You see what I meant when I say i can't find any differences between those that can and those that cannot.

    Jon.

    Hello Jon!

I can already see that there is no logical conclusion.

Can you please check if these two phone numbers have somehow ended up on the Black-List / Spam-List and therefore are not allowed?

In the meantime I continue to search for a possible solution.

    Greetings!
