Screen goes black during phone call

Question

Hi, I have recently had my screen replaced (for an original one) and ever since then every time I make a phone call whether it's normal call, WhatsApp or messenger the screen goes black and there is no way to acces it or even turn off the call as it essentially becomes inactive...I have looked into setting but there is not option of proximity sensor, I also cleared cache, restarted etc...

Any idea how to fix this please ?

Hi Anihilonihil!

Have you tried to fix it with an app to reset the proximity sensor? Since there are different apps in the Play Store and the user reviews differ, we recommend you to try 2-3 different ones in case it can't be fixed at first try.

Hi Anihilonihil! Have you entered in CIT menu and checked if the proximity sensor works properly? To enter please type *#*#6484#*#*in dial pad.
