Enable or Disable Content Feed in Browser App

Opening the Huawei Browser homepage normally shows shortcuts to Google, YouTube or N-TV, but no rolling news headlines underneath them. That extra feed lives behind a separate News service option, and until you find it, the start page sticks to plain website tiles. Turning the feed off works the same way, in case a busy homepage got in the way of quick searches.

Enable or Disable Browser Night Mode

Bright white pages in the Huawei browser can be hard on your eyes late at night or in a dark room. Night mode dims the browser interface and adjusts page colors, but the toggle is easy to miss inside the app menu. Here is where that setting actually lives and how it behaves once switched on.

Set App Data Usage Permissions

If a single app burns through your mobile data plan or keeps syncing in the background even on Wi-Fi, its network permissions are likely too broad. Huawei phones let you restrict mobile data, background data and roaming for each app individually. This is also the fix when an app still uses data after you switched on data saver.

Enable Full-Screen Display for Apps

Some apps on your Huawei phone still show a small black bar or don't stretch across the whole screen. EMUI flags these apps as not optimized for full-screen mode, but you can still force the setting yourself for each one. Skip an app and it stays letterboxed no matter how often you restart it.
