Add a New Contact auf Huawei
The Contacts app on your Huawei phone opens with just two fields visible when you start a new entry: name and phone number. Extra details like birthday, address, relationship, website, or a custom ringtone sit one step further and many people never open that extra screen.
Where the extra fields are hiding
Open Contacts ➔ Tap on Add ➔ Type in a name ➔ Tap on Phone number ➔ Type in a number ➔ Tap on Add more fields ➔ Add more contact informations and tap on save.
The Add more fields step unlocks the additional entries in one screen instead of forcing you to save first and edit later. This matters if you want a contact card that already carries a birthday reminder, a work address, or a personal ringtone the moment you save it.
If you only need a quick number for a call, save the contact with just name and number and add the rest later. Fields added this way stay attached to the contact regardless of whether it later syncs to a cloud account or stays stored on the phone only.
