Add a Bookmark to the Home Screen auf Huawei
Bookmarks saved in the Huawei browser stay inside the app by default. Every time you want to open one, you have to launch the browser first and dig through the saved list. That is fine for pages you visit occasionally, but it slows you down for sites you check every day.
Placing a bookmark directly on the home screen fixes this. It creates a shortcut icon that behaves like an app: one tap opens the page immediately, without loading the browser interface or navigating any menus first.
Where the option lives
The shortcut option sits inside the browser app itself, not in the phone's general home screen settings. Open the Browser app, then open the menu, and tap on Add to home screen. Confirm the name for the shortcut when prompted, and the icon appears on your home screen right away.
This works for any page currently open in the browser, whether it is already bookmarked or not. If you only need quick access occasionally, using the regular bookmarks list inside the browser is still the simpler option. For pages you open constantly, the home screen shortcut saves noticeably more time.
