Add a New User Account auf Huawei
When several people use the same Huawei phone, a single shared profile mixes up apps, contacts and photos for everyone. EMUI solves this with multiple user accounts, so each person gets a private area for apps, background and settings, while shared hardware settings like Wi-Fi stay controlled by the device owner.
To add a new user, open Settings ➔ Users & accounts ➔ Users ➔ Add user. Enter a nickname for the new profile and tap Add to confirm.
The new account starts empty, meaning apps, wallpapers and files from other users are not visible. Each user can sign in with their own Google or Huawei account, install their own apps and set their own lock screen, without affecting other profiles on the phone.
Switching between accounts happens from the lock screen or the quick settings panel, depending on the device setup. This approach only makes sense if the phone is genuinely shared long-term; for a quick one-time loan, a guest mode or app lock is usually faster and avoids managing extra accounts afterward.
