Add a WiFi Network Manually auf Huawei
A WiFi network disappears from the scan list on a Huawei phone mainly for one reason: the router broadcasts the SSID as hidden. EMUI only lists networks that actively announce themselves, so a hidden network simply never shows up, even when the signal is strong and the phone sits right next to the router.
To connect anyway, the network has to be entered manually. This requires the exact SSID, meaning the network name as set on the router, spelled with correct case and spacing. If the network uses encryption, the matching password is required as well. Any typo in either field results in a failed connection attempt without a clear error message.
On a Huawei phone the manual entry works through Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Tap on Add network ➔ Enter the appropriate data and tap on Connect. Once saved, the phone remembers the network and reconnects automatically whenever it is in range, the same way it does with visible networks.
This method only helps for networks that exist but stay hidden. If a network cannot be found at all, the problem usually sits with the router configuration or the signal range, not with the phone.
