Enable or Disable Airplane Mode auf Huawei
Airplane mode on a Huawei phone is a single switch that shuts down every radio at the same time. Mobile network, mobile data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all disconnect together, which is why calls stop coming in and messages no longer send or arrive.
This behavior is intentional. Airlines require every wireless connection to be off during a flight, so the system bundles all of them into one toggle instead of letting you switch mobile data and Wi-Fi separately while the mode is active.
If you only want to save battery or block mobile data, turning off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi individually is the better option, since airplane mode leaves you without any connection at all.
To find the switch, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Mobile network ➔ Activate or deactivate Airplane mode. The same toggle is usually mirrored in the quick settings panel, so an accidental swipe there can turn it on without you noticing.
Once it is active, incoming calls go straight to voicemail and apps relying on a live connection stop syncing until you switch it off again.
