Allow Calls Through Do Not Disturb auf Huawei
Do Not Disturb on EMUI mutes calls, alerts and notifications by default. If you rely on this mode overnight or during meetings, an incoming call from a specific person can disappear without any ring or vibration.
EMUI includes a separate setting just for calls, independent from the general notification rules. This lets you decide whether all calls should ring through, only contacts, only favourites, or none at all while Do Not Disturb stays on.
To change this behaviour, open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Tap on Calls ➔ Choose Everyone, Contacts only, Favourites only or No one.
Picking Contacts only or Favourites only is the safest middle ground: unknown numbers stay blocked, but people you have actually saved can still reach you. Everyone effectively cancels call muting, while No one silences every call regardless of who is calling.
If a caller is already blocked through a separate call-restriction or blocklist feature, this Do Not Disturb exception will not override that block. The two systems work independently, so a number on your restriction list stays silent no matter which option you pick here.
