Allow Messages in Do Not Disturb auf Huawei
Do Not Disturb on Huawei phones silences calls and messages through two separate rules. If you only adjusted the call exception, texts can still slip through with sound and vibration, which explains why the phone keeps buzzing during quiet hours.
Where the message rule lives
The setting sits directly below the call rule inside the same menu. Open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Tap on Messages.
From there, pick one of four options: Choose Everyone, Contacts only, Favourites only or No one.
What each option changes
Everyone lets every text through with normal sound and vibration, so it is the same as having no restriction. Contacts only limits alerts to numbers saved in your address book, useful for work hours when unknown senders should stay quiet. Favourites only narrows this further to the small group marked as favourites in your contacts app, good for nights or focus sessions. No one blocks every message notification while Do Not Disturb stays active, though messages still arrive in the app and show up once you check it.
Pick the level that matches how reachable you need to be. If you rely on group chats or delivery texts from unsaved numbers, Contacts only or Everyone works better than No one.
