Allow Repeated Calls in Do Not Disturb auf Huawei
Do Not Disturb on Huawei phones mutes calls and notifications by default, including calls that repeat within a short time. This is meant to cut down on noise, but it can also silence a genuinely urgent second call from the same person.
EMUI has a dedicated exception for this called Repeated calls. When enabled, a second call from the same number within 15 minutes bypasses the mute and rings normally. When disabled, every call is treated the same way, no matter how many times someone tries to reach you.
To change this behavior, open Settings ➔ Sounds & vibration ➔ Do Not Disturb ➔ Repeated calls. Toggle the option on to let urgent follow-up calls through, or turn it off if you want Do Not Disturb to stay strict at all times.
This setting only matters if you already restrict calls inside Do Not Disturb. If calls are not restricted at all, Repeated calls has no effect since nothing gets muted in the first place.
Consider turning this on if you rely on someone calling twice to signal urgency, such as family members or on-call work contacts. Leave it off if you prefer complete silence during focus or sleep hours, regardless of how many times someone tries to reach you.
