Manage App Permissions auf Huawei
Android controls what an app can access through individual permissions such as camera, location, microphone, contacts or storage. On a Huawei phone running EMUI, these permissions sit inside the app management area of the system settings, not inside the app itself.
Each permission can carry one of three states: fully denied, always allowed, or allowed only while the app is open. The third option is useful for apps like maps or camera tools that only need access during active use, since it prevents background access when you are not using the app.
To review or change a permission, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Apps ➔ Tap on Apps ➔ Choose an app ➔ Tap on Permission ➔ Tap on the desired permission ➔ Choose between Deny, Allow or Allow only while using the app.
If an app stops working correctly after a permission change, the feature tied to that permission (for example scanning a document without camera access) will simply not function until you allow it again. Permissions granted earlier are never permanent and can be revisited any time through the same path.
If an app misbehaves across the whole system rather than around one specific function, checking battery or background data settings is usually more effective than adjusting permissions alone.
