Enable or Disable the Camera Assistive Grid auf Huawei
A tilted horizon or a badly cropped subject usually comes down to one missing tool: a visual reference line while framing the shot. Huawei's camera app includes an assistive grid for exactly this purpose. It overlays a 3x3 pattern on the viewfinder so you can align edges, horizons and faces before you tap the shutter.
The grid lives inside the camera's own settings, not in the general system settings. Open Camera, then go to Open the settings, and toggle Activate or deactivate Assistive grid. The change applies immediately and stays active until you switch it off again, even after restarting the app.
Keep the grid on if you regularly shoot landscapes, architecture or group photos where straight lines matter. Turn it off for spontaneous snapshots where the overlay just gets in the way, or if you find it distracting on a small display. The grid is a framing aid only - it has no effect on resolution, focus or exposure, and it never appears in the saved photo.
