Enable or Disable Banner Notifications auf Huawei
Banner notifications are the short pop-up windows that appear briefly at the top of the screen when an app receives a new message or update. Messenger and social apps like WhatsApp, Telegram or Facebook rely heavily on this alert style because it is more noticeable than a simple icon in the status bar.
The setting sits inside the notification controls for each individual app, not in a global switch. That means one app can keep banners active while another only shows a quiet notification in the shade. This is useful if you want instant alerts from a messaging app but prefer silence from a news or shopping app.
To change it, go to Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Notifications ➔ Choose an app ➔ Tap on Miscellaneous ➔ Enable or disable Banners. Turning banners off does not mute the app completely; the notification still lands in the status bar and notification shade, it just skips the pop-up.
If an app floods you with banners at the wrong moments, disabling only the banner style keeps you informed without the interruption. If you want to block the app entirely, use the main notification toggle for that app instead, since switching off banners alone will not stop sound or lock screen alerts.
