Block a Phone Number from Call History auf Huawei
Repeated calls from the same unfamiliar number usually mean a spam campaign or an automated dialer, not a genuine contact trying to reach you. Huawei bundles call blocking into the regular call log instead of hiding it in a separate app, which is why the option is easy to miss if you have not looked for it before.
Blocking a number here silences both future calls and text messages from that sender. The entry stays visible in your history, but new attempts get rejected automatically.
Block a number from the call log
Open the Phone app ➔ Tap and hold a phone number or entry ➔ Tap on Block contact. Confirm if prompted, and the number is blocked immediately.
This works whether or not the number is saved as a contact. If it is unsaved, the raw number itself gets added to your block list.
Blocking from here is the right move for one-off nuisance numbers. If you are dealing with an entire category of spam callers, a dedicated harassment filter or carrier-level spam protection may be more effective than blocking numbers one by one.
A blocked number can be reversed the same way: locate the entry, tap and hold it, and remove the block.
