Change Device Name auf Huawei
Every Huawei phone ships with a preset device name based on the model. That name is what other devices see over Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, or when the phone is connected to a computer for file transfer.
Since the device name is easier to read than a MAC address, it is the main way other people or systems identify your phone in a list of available connections. If several Huawei phones are nearby, the generic model name makes it hard to know which one is yours.
To rename it, open Settings ➔ tap About phone ➔ tap Device name ➔ enter a new name and tap OK.
The new name applies immediately to Bluetooth pairing requests, Wi-Fi Direct discovery, and PC file-sharing tools. Already paired devices may keep showing the old name in their history until you remove and re-pair the connection.
Changing the device name has no effect on performance, warranty, or any system function. It is purely a label used for identification, so you can change it again at any time using the same steps.
