Huawei: Clear the Browser Cache

The Huawei Browser stores cached versions of visited pages to speed up loading. Over time this cache grows large and can cause pages to display outdated content, load slowly, or show broken previews.

This is different from clearing app data or cookies. Clearing the cache removes stored page files only, while your bookmarks, saved passwords, and browsing history stay untouched.

To clear it, open Open the Browser app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Clear browsing data. Select Cached pages, tap Clear data, and confirm with Clear.

If pages still load incorrectly afterward, the issue may sit with the website itself or with your network connection, not the cache. In that case, restarting the browser or checking the connection is a better first step.

Clearing the cache does not sign you out of accounts or remove saved logins. It only forces the browser to reload page content fresh on your next visit, which can briefly make loading feel slower until the cache rebuilds.
