Clear Browsing History in the Browser App auf Huawei
Every page you open in the Browser app on your Huawei phone gets logged in the browsing history. This list powers address bar suggestions and the history overview, and it keeps growing until you clear it manually.
The history is stored separately from cookies and cache. That means clearing it will not log you out of websites and will not remove saved autofill data - it only removes the record of pages you visited.
To clear it, follow this path inside the browser:
Open the Browser app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Clear browsing data ➔ Select Browsing history ➔ Tap on Clear data ➔ Confirm with Clear
After confirming, the history list is empty and address bar suggestions based on past visits disappear. Bookmarks, saved passwords, and downloaded files stay untouched, since they live in separate storage areas.
If your real goal is fixing a site that behaves oddly - stuck on an old layout or showing a wrong login state - clearing cache and cookies in the same Settings menu is usually the better fix, since browsing history alone does not affect how a page loads.
