Adjust Colour Mode & Temperature auf Huawei
A display that looks too blue, too warm, or generally flat is usually not a hardware issue on Huawei phones. It comes from the colour mode and temperature setting inside EMUI, which controls how the screen renders reds, greens and blues across every app.
Where the setting lives
Huawei splits this control into two parts: a colour mode (Normal or Vivid) and a temperature slider that shifts the whole screen warmer or cooler. Vivid boosts saturation so colours appear more vibrant, while Normal keeps a calibrated, true-to-source look that is better for photo editing or reading.
To change it, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Display & brightness ➔ Tap on Colour mode & temperature ➔ Choose Normal, Vivid or change the Colour temperature. Dragging the temperature slider towards the sun icon makes whites appear warmer and slightly yellow, while dragging towards the snowflake makes the screen cooler and more blue.
This setting is separate from Eye comfort mode, which reduces blue light for evening use. If your goal is reducing eye strain at night rather than adjusting overall colour accuracy, Eye comfort mode is the better fix. Changes made here apply system-wide and do not affect battery life.
