Connect to a Wi-Fi Network auf Huawei
Every Huawei phone running EMUI keeps its Wi-Fi radio switched off by default after a reset or a fresh setup, which is the main reason a network list stays empty on the connectivity screen.
To join any network, open Open the settings ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Activate Wi-Fi. Once the toggle turns on, EMUI scans the surrounding area and displays every reachable network, both private and public.
Tap the network you want under Choose a Wi-Fi network. A private network prompts for a password, while a public hotspot may connect directly or redirect you to a login page in the browser. Follow the last step, Type in your details, the password if needed and confirm with Connect, to finish the process.
Once connected, EMUI remembers the network and reconnects automatically whenever it is in range, which can raise background data usage on networks you rarely need. If you only want a temporary connection, for example on a public network, turn Wi-Fi off again afterward or forget the network from the same settings screen.
