Enable or Disable Content Feed in Browser App auf Huawei
The Huawei Browser homepage ships with a fixed row of shortcuts to sites like Google, YouTube or N-TV. The rolling news headlines underneath that row belong to a separate feature called News service, and EMUI keeps the toggle inside the browser settings instead of the main app menu.
To reach it, follow this path: Open the Browser app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Home page settings ➔ Enable or disable News service ➔ Confirm with Agree. The confirmation step only appears the first time you switch the feed on, since EMUI wants you to accept the data usage that comes with a live content stream.
Switching the feed off uses the same menu path. Open Browser ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Home page settings, then disable News service. No confirmation dialog shows up when you turn it off.
An active feed loads extra articles in the background, which uses more mobile data if you are off Wi-Fi and can slow the homepage refresh slightly. Keep it off if you use the browser mainly for quick searches, and turn it on when you want a news overview without opening a separate app.
