Copy an SMS Message auf Huawei
Copying an SMS on a Huawei phone works through the same long-press menu used for deleting or forwarding messages, which is why it is easy to tap the wrong option in a long thread.
The copy function stores the text in the system clipboard, not in the Messages app itself. Once copied, you can paste that content into any other field, such as a note, email, or another chat, until you copy something new and overwrite the clipboard.
Menu path
Open the Messages app ➔ Choose a conversation ➔ Tap and hold a message ➔ Tap on Copy
Holding the message briefly opens a small menu above or below the bubble. Depending on how long the message is and where you tap, this menu can also show Delete, Forward, or Share right next to Copy, so check the label before tapping.
If you need to save several messages from the same conversation, repeat the long-press and copy step for each one individually, since Huawei Messages does not support multi-select copying in a single action. For sharing an entire conversation instead of single lines, use Forward or Share on each message rather than the copy function.
