Set Default Keyboard auf Huawei
Swiftkey is the pre-installed keyboard on Huawei phones running EMUI, and it stays active even after you install a different keyboard app from the store. New keyboards register themselves with the system but do not switch on automatically, so typing still opens Swiftkey until you assign the new one as default.
The setting that controls this lives under the language and input options, separate from the keyboard app itself. Changing it there tells the system which keyboard to load whenever you tap a text field, across every app on the phone.
How to switch the default keyboard
Open Settings ➔ System & updates ➔ Language & Input ➔ Default keyboard, then pick the keyboard you want to use from the list.
Only keyboards already installed on the device show up in this list. If the keyboard you want is missing, install it first, then return to this menu to select it.
Note: if no other keyboard app is installed, Swiftkey remains the only option and the list will not offer alternatives.
