Huawei: Delete a User Account from Multiple Users

If several people share the same Huawei phone, each extra user gets a separate profile with its own apps, photos, and settings. Only the device owner or an administrator can remove one of these profiles, and doing so wipes every file and setting tied to that account for good. Before you remove a profile, it helps to know exactly where the delete option sits and what data disappears with it.

Delete a User Account auf Huawei

Huawei phones running EMUI let the owner set up separate profiles for family members or guests. Each profile keeps its own home screen, apps, and files, which is useful for shared devices but means storage fills up faster the more users you add.

Deleting a profile is the quickest way to free that space back up. Only the phone owner or a user with administrator rights can remove another profile; a standard user account cannot delete itself or others.

To remove a profile, open Open the settingsTap on Users & accountsTap on UsersChoose the user account you want to deleteTap on Delete userConfirm with Delete.

This action is final. All apps, photos, messages, and personal settings stored inside that profile are erased immediately and cannot be recovered afterward.

If the person still needs some of that data, back it up to a cloud service or transfer the files to shared storage before confirming the deletion.
