Enable Desktop Site in Browser auf Huawei
Huawei phones load websites in a mobile layout by default. The browser checks the screen size and sends a mobile signal to the site, so the page returns a simplified version with fewer buttons and menus.
Some websites hide entire features in this mobile layout, especially banking portals, business dashboards or older shop systems that were never fully optimized for phones. Switching to the desktop site forces the browser to request the full version instead.
How to switch to desktop view
Open the Browser app and load the website you need in the full layout. Tap Open the menu, then select Enable or disable Desktop site.
The page reloads immediately in the desktop layout. Text and buttons appear smaller because the browser now renders the full-size version on your phone screen, so you may need to zoom in on smaller details.
This setting usually applies only to the current tab. Closing the tab or opening a new one resets the browser back to the mobile layout, so you need to repeat the steps for other websites where you need the desktop view.
Desktop view is not a fix for every display problem. If a page still looks broken afterward, the issue is more likely a slow connection or an outdated browser version rather than the mobile/desktop layout switch.
