Enable or Disable Dial Pad Sounds auf Huawei
The Huawei phone app plays a short sound for every digit you tap on the dial pad. This comes from the keypad tones setting inside Sounds & vibration, not from a general system sound toggle, which is why muting your ringer alone does not remove it.
You get three options: None silences the dial pad completely, Default plays a short beep per key, and Melody plays ascending or descending tones depending on the digit dialed. Picking the right one matters if you often dial numbers in meetings, at night, or around people who find the beeps distracting.
Where to change it
Open Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on More sound settings ➔ Tap on Keypad tones, then Choose None, Default or Melody. The change applies immediately to every call you dial afterward, no restart needed.
If you still hear a click when pressing keys elsewhere in the phone, that is a separate haptic or touch sound setting, not the dial pad tones covered here. Keep that in mind if muting the dialer does not fully silence your device.
