Disable Lock Screen Password auf Huawei
The lock screen password on a Huawei phone (EMUI) is the single barrier between your data and anyone who picks up the device. Removing it turns off the PIN, pattern or password prompt, but it also disables every security feature that depends on it.
Fingerprint unlock stops working immediately, because EMUI needs a password as backup verification for biometric data. App lock, which restricts access to individual apps, is removed at the same time since it relies on the same authentication layer.
To turn off the password, open Settings ➔ Biometrics & password ➔ Disable lock screen password ➔ confirm with Disable and follow the instructions on screen.
Skip this step if you use the phone for banking, work email, or store personal photos you would not want a stranger to see. A better alternative for daily convenience is switching to a shorter PIN or keeping fingerprint unlock active instead of removing the password entirely.
Once disabled, the phone boots straight to the home screen and any app protected only by the removed app lock becomes accessible without confirmation.
