Adjust Display Size auf Huawei
Screen elements on a Huawei phone are controlled by a single display size slider, separate from font size. Moving it changes how large icons, menu text, and app previews appear across the whole system, not just inside one app.
When elements look too small, this slider is usually set toward the compact side. When everything looks oversized and fewer icons fit per row, it is set toward the larger side. Either way, the fix takes a few seconds.
Where to change the display size
Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Display & brightness ➔ Tap on Text and display size. On this screen, Push the bar to the left or right to shrink or enlarge screen elements. The preview above the slider updates instantly, so you can compare before applying the change.
Because the whole layout scales, app icons on the home screen often rearrange into new rows or pages. This is expected behavior, not a sign that apps were removed. You can drag any shortcut back to its original position afterward.
If only text looks wrong while icons stay the same size, the issue is font size, not display size, and needs its own setting nearby on the same screen.
