Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb auf Huawei
Do Not Disturb on Huawei phones mutes incoming call ringtones, message alerts and most system sounds in one step. Calls still come through but get rejected automatically with a short busy tone instead of ringing.
This behavior is controlled through EMUI sound settings, not through individual app notification settings. That is why muting a single app will not stop Do Not Disturb from silencing everything else.
Where to turn it on or off
Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Sounds & vibration ➔ Tap on Do Not Disturb ➔ Activate Do Not Disturb or Scheduled.
Choosing Do Not Disturb switches the mode on immediately and keeps it active until you turn it off manually. Choosing Scheduled lets the phone switch the mode on and off automatically at set times, for example overnight, without you touching the setting again.
If calls or alerts stay silent even after you think you turned the mode off, check whether a schedule is still active in the same menu. A forgotten schedule is the most common reason Do Not Disturb seems to turn itself back on.
Use manual activation for short periods, like a meeting, and a schedule for recurring times, like sleep hours. If you only want to silence one app instead of the whole phone, adjust that app's notification settings separately rather than relying on Do Not Disturb.
