Emoji Access on Enter Key auf Huawei
On some Huawei phones the emoji icon disappears from the keyboard row, usually after a keyboard update or a language change in SwiftKey. When that happens, the enter key can double as an emoji trigger, but only if the setting behind it is switched on.
Where to find the setting
The option lives inside the keyboard app itself, not in the general phone settings menu. Go to Open the settings ➤ Tap on System & updates ➤ Tap on Language & input ➤ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➤ Tap on Typing ➤ Tap on Keys ➤ Activate or deactivate Emoji access on enter key.
Turning this toggle on replaces the standard return arrow with an emoji icon whenever the keyboard detects a text field that does not need a line break, for example in a WhatsApp or Messenger chat. Turning it off restores normal enter behavior, which helps if you send multi-line messages often and rely on quick line breaks instead of emoji shortcuts.
This setting only affects the SwiftKey keyboard. If you use a different keyboard app, check that app's own settings for a comparable emoji or symbol shortcut.
