Enable or Disable Flip to Mute auf Huawei
Flip to mute is part of the motion control options in EMUI. When it is active, turning your Huawei phone face down mutes the ringtone and vibration of an incoming call, or the sound of a running timer and alarm clock, depending on which options you selected.
The feature does not rely on Do Not Disturb schedules or silent mode. Instead, it reacts directly to the phone's orientation sensor, so muting happens the instant the display touches the surface.
You can enable calls and alarms together, choose only one of them, or switch the whole function off if accidental flips keep silencing calls you want to hear. To adjust it, go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility features ➔ Tap on Motion control ➔ Activate or deactivate incoming calls and/or Mute timers and alarms.
If flipping the phone does not mute anything, check whether both toggles are switched off in that menu, or whether the phone case is thick enough to prevent the sensor from registering a full flip.
