Switch Between Standard and Drawer Home Screen Style auf Huawei
EMUI ships with the Standard home screen style, which places every installed app as an icon directly on your screens. Each new app you install adds another icon, which can make the layout crowded over time.
The Drawer style hides all apps behind a swipe gesture. Instead of pinning new icons automatically, EMUI keeps them in a separate app list that opens when you swipe up from the home screen. This keeps your main screens limited to the icons and widgets you placed there yourself.
Where to change the style
Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Home screen & wallpaper ➔ Tap on Home screen style ➔ Choose Standard or Drawer.
Switching to Drawer does not remove or uninstall anything. It only changes where new app icons are placed and how you reach the full app list.
If you rely on folders and a specific icon arrangement, switching back to Standard restores that layout on the visible screens, while the drawer list disappears until you switch again.
