Import Contacts auf Huawei
Huawei phones do not scan your storage for contact files automatically. Every VCF file, SIM card entry or Bluetooth transfer has to be imported manually through the Contacts app before it shows up in your call log or messages.
This matters because contacts saved on a SIM or received via Bluetooth exist as separate data until you actively pull them into the phone or your Google account. Until then, dialing a name from that source will not work, even though the file is technically on your device.
To bring them in, open Open Contacts ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Tap on Import/Export. From there, pick Choose any storage you want to import from, then Choose the contacts you want to import and confirm with Tap on Import. Finally, use Choose a storage to decide whether the imported entries land in your local device storage or sync straight to your Google account.
Choosing Google account as the destination is the better option if you plan to switch phones later, since those contacts sync back automatically. Local storage is fine for a one-time SIM transfer you do not need on other devices.
