Set a Custom Lock Screen Signature auf Huawei
By default, EMUI displays the name stored on your Huawei business card at the bottom of the lock screen. This text is controlled by a separate function called Lock screen signature, which sits inside the wallpaper settings rather than the security menu, even though it affects what strangers see before unlocking the phone.
To change it, open Settings ➔ Home screen & wallpaper ➔ Lock screen signature. Type your own text and confirm with OK. The new text replaces the default name immediately, without requiring a restart or unlock.
This setting is useful if you want to show alternate contact details in case the phone is lost, or simply remove the automatically pulled business card name. It only changes the small text line on the lock screen and does not affect notification previews, the clock, or any other lock screen elements.
If you are trying to hide notification content or lock specific apps instead, this is the wrong setting. Lock screen signature only edits static text, it has no effect on privacy of messages or app previews. Clearing the field and confirming with an empty entry removes the signature entirely.
