Set Up a New Alarm auf Huawei
When an alarm never rings, the setup inside the Clock app is usually incomplete rather than broken. EMUI stores every alarm as a separate entry with its own time, repeat pattern, sound and vibration setting. Skipping one of these fields, especially the repeat days or the sound confirmation, leaves the alarm silent or one-off instead of daily.
Create the alarm step by step
Open Tap on Clock ➔ Tap on Alarm ➔ Tap on Add to start a new entry. Set the wake-up time with Choose a time through swiping up or down.
To repeat the alarm on specific days, use Tap on Repeat ➔ Choose one or more days, then confirm with OK. Skipping this step turns the alarm into a one-time reminder that disappears after it rings once.
For the sound, tap Tap on Sound ➔ Confirm with Allowed if necessary ➔ Choose a ringtone. The permission prompt only appears the first time you pick a custom song instead of a preset tone. Confirm with Tap on back ➔ Tap on Save to activate the alarm.
If the phone still stays quiet at the set time, check that battery optimization or Do Not Disturb is not muting the Clock app separately. That setting sits outside the alarm entry itself.
