Number Position in Number & Symbols Keyboard Layout auf Huawei
By default, the number and symbols layout on SwiftKey Keyboard shows all digits in a single row above the letters. This works fine for occasional typing but gets slow if you regularly enter phone numbers, codes or prices, since your thumb has to travel across the full row for every digit.
EMUI lets you replace that row with a compact numeric keypad, similar to a calculator layout, positioned either on the left or right edge of the keyboard. This is useful for one-handed typing, since the keypad sits closer to your thumb and reduces reach.
How to change it
Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Keys ➔ Tap on Number position in number & symbols layout ➔ Choose Top, Left or Right.
Pick Top to keep the original row layout. Pick Left or Right for the numeric keypad, matching whichever hand you type with. If you use a third-party keyboard app instead of SwiftKey, this setting will not apply and you need to check that app's own layout options.
