Enable or Disable the Number Row auf Huawei
By default, the SwiftKey Keyboard on Huawei phones only shows letters on the main layout. Numbers sit on a separate symbols page, which means an extra tap every time you type a phone number, a PIN, or a password with digits.
The number row option adds a dedicated line of digits above the letter keys, so you never have to leave the main keyboard layout to type a number. This setting lives inside the keyboard app, not in the general phone settings, which is why it is often overlooked.
Where to find the number row setting
Open this path to reach the option:
Open the settings ➔ Tap on System & updates ➔ Tap on Language & input ➔ Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard ➔ Tap on Typing ➔ Tap on Keys ➔ Activate or deactivate Number row
Turning the toggle on adds the row instantly, no restart needed. Turning it off frees up a bit of vertical space on the keyboard, which can help on smaller screens or when you rarely type numbers.
If you use a different keyboard app instead of SwiftKey, this setting will not appear, since the option is specific to that keyboard.
