Enable or Disable Object Tracking in Camera auf Huawei
Object tracking keeps the camera focus locked on a subject you tap on the display. Once active, the focus box follows that subject across the frame, even if you move your Huawei device or the subject changes position within the shot.
This setting sits inside the camera app itself, not in the general system settings. Open Camera ➔ Settings, then find the toggle for Object tracking and switch it on or off.
When the option is off, the camera falls back to standard autofocus, which can shift focus to a different area if the original subject moves or another object enters the frame. This is preferable for static scenes or landscapes, where you do not want the focus point to jump.
Turn object tracking on for moving subjects: pets, kids, sports, or any shot where the subject changes position while you record or frame a photo. Disable it again for tripod shots, macro work, or scenes where a fixed focus point gives more predictable results.
