Power button ends call setting auf Huawei
Power button ends call is a calling option in EMUI that turns the physical power key into a shortcut for hanging up. With it active, a single press during a live call disconnects the line instead of only locking the screen. This is useful if you often fumble for the on-screen End button, but it can also cause accidental hang-ups if you grip the phone naturally while talking.
The setting lives inside the calling preferences of the Phone app, not in the general system settings. To reach it, follow this path:
Open the Phone app ➔ Open the menu ➔ Open the settings ➔ Tap on More ➔ Activate or deactivate Power button ends call
Once you find the toggle, switch it on if you want a fast, one-press way to end calls, or switch it off if you keep pressing the power button by accident while a call is running. The change applies immediately and does not require a restart.
If calls still drop unexpectedly after disabling this option, check whether a case or screen protector is pressing against the power button, since that is a common hardware-related cause unrelated to this setting.
