Enable or Disable Performance Mode auf Huawei
Performance mode on Huawei devices pushes the processor and other hardware components to run at their highest possible output. It skips some of the usual power-saving throttling that EMUI applies during normal use.
The trade-off is higher battery consumption and increased heat generation, especially during gaming, video editing, or other demanding tasks. If you notice your phone getting warm quickly or the battery dropping faster than expected, check whether this mode is active.
Where to find the setting
Go to Open the settings ➔ Tap on Battery ➔ Activate or deactivate Performance mode ➔ Confirm with Enable. Toggling the switch again turns it off.
Leave Performance mode off for everyday use like browsing or messaging, since the standard power profile already handles these tasks efficiently. Switch it on only when you need the extra headroom for short bursts of intensive work, and turn it off again once you're done to let the device cool down and save battery.
