Set Up Quick Response Text for Calls auf Huawei
When you can't pick up an incoming call, Huawei phones let you send a short text message to the caller instead of just letting the phone ring out. This quick response feature lives inside the Phone app settings and works separately from your regular messaging app.
The option appears when you swipe up on the incoming call screen, and the message goes out automatically without opening a chat app. You can prepare several preset texts in advance and pick a different one depending on the situation, for example a quick note that you're in a meeting versus one that says you're driving.
Where to edit your quick response texts
Open Phone app ➔ Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Respond with text. Tap any of the preset entries to select it, then type in your own wording and confirm with OK.
Quick response only works on the standard call screen for cellular calls. It does not fire for calls coming through third-party apps, and it needs an active SMS or messaging connection to actually reach the caller.
