Remain on Lock Screen After Face Recognition auf Huawei
Huawei phones let you decide what happens right after Face Recognition confirms your identity. The behavior is controlled by a single setting called Unlock device, and it has three states: Direct unlock, Slide to unlock, and Off.
With Direct unlock, a successful scan takes you straight to the home screen. With Slide to unlock, the phone recognizes your face but keeps the lock screen visible, so you still need to swipe up to continue. Choosing Off disables Face Recognition as an unlock method entirely, even though the feature stays available for other purposes like app locks.
To change this behavior, open Settings ➔ Biometrics & password ➔ Face Recognition ➔ Unlock device. Then pick Direct unlock, Slide to unlock, or Off depending on how you want the phone to react after a scan.
Slide to unlock is useful if you want a moment to see notifications or widgets on the lock screen before opening the phone. Direct unlock is faster if you unlock the device dozens of times a day and do not need that extra step.
