Rename a Home Screen Folder auf Huawei
Huawei groups apps into folders automatically once you drag one app icon onto another. EMUI assigns a placeholder name like Folder 1, which rarely tells you anything about the apps inside.
Renaming a folder does not move or delete any app. It only changes the label shown underneath the folder icon on your home screen, so you can organize shopping apps, banking apps or games without opening each folder to check what is inside.
To rename a folder, tap on it to open it first. Then Tap on a folder ➔ Tap on the name of the folder ➔ Type in a new name for your folder ➔ Confirm with save.
The new name appears immediately below the folder icon. If the folder still shows the old name, make sure you tapped directly on the text field above the app icons and not on one of the apps inside.
This method works the same way regardless of how many apps are inside the folder or where it sits on your home screen.
